Advanced Surgical Care for Dogs and Cats
Veterinary Surgery Group LLC is a dedicated small animal surgery center, and we aim to provide you with a consistent client-oriented experience. We emphasize transparency and compassion through our services, as we discuss the pursuit of advanced soft tissue and orthopedic care for your pets.
TPLO / Cruciate ligament repair
The most common surgical procedure to repair a ruptured Cranial Cruciate Ligament (CCL) – the dog equivalent of a human ACL tear.
Fracture repair and orthopedic trauma
Critical services for pets that have suffered from accidents, falls, or high-impact injuries.
Medial Patellar luxation repair
A common surgical procedure that corrects a kneecap that pops out of its groove.
Prophylactic Gastropexy
An elective surgical procedure designed to prevent Gastric Dilatation-Volvulus (GDV), a life-threatening emergency where the stomach distends with gas and then twists on its axis.
Mass removal and oncologic surgery
The most effective surgery for treating tumors in pets.
Foreign body removal
A common emergency procedure performed to extract non-food objects—such as toys, clothing, or rocks—that a pet has swallowed and cannot pass naturally.
Airway surgery (BOAS) and Laryngeal Paralysis
Upper airway surgeries in dogs primarily address structural obstructions that impede normal breathing.
Splenectomy and advanced abdominal procedures
While it is often an emergency due to a ruptured mass, it is one of the most common “major” soft tissue procedures performed.
Digital Radiography
This has largely replaced traditional film X-rays, and images are available within seconds, allowing for rapid decision-making in critical or emergency cases.
CT Scans
CT scans provide high-resolution, 3D cross-sectional “slices” of a pet’s anatomy, offering detail that standard 2D X-rays cannot match.
Fluoroscopy
Often described as an “X-ray movie,” fluoroscopy provides real-time, moving images of internal structures in motion.
